The Solidarity Free Representation Unit does exactly what it says. It provides free representation to people in Employment related disputes. This can involve representation at disciplinaries, tribunals and professional hearings. It may also involve negotiation of settlements. SFR was established so that to provide representation to non-members who had a worthy case where they would otherwise not be represented.
The SFR is headed by the General Secretary of Solidarity but its finances and organisation are separate from the Union. Many Union Representatives do Pro Bono work for SFR bringing years of experience in employment law to bear on problems.
SFR has already been involved in several tribunal cases and settlements of claims. If you have a case that you would like taken up please contact SFR at email@example.com.
